Environmental and climate protection are central elements of our corporate and sustainability strategy and are crucial to Vonovia’s long-term success. As Europe’s leading residential real estate company, we assume responsibility and actively promote environmental and climate protection in our neighborhoods and across the industry.
Our focus lies on climate protection within our property portfolio as well as on sustainable new construction and refurbishment. In addition, we address climate change adaptation, biodiversity, water, and the circular economy. Our actions are guided by international and national targets such as the Paris Climate Agreement, the EU Green Deal, and the goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2045.
