Vonovia Supervisory Board renews Arnd Fittkau's contract ahead of schedule until 31 May 2030

Bochum, 1 June 2026 – The Supervisory Board of Vonovia SE has extended the contract of CRO Arnd Fittkau (53) by three years ahead of schedule, taking effect on 1 June 2027 and ending on 31 May 2030.

Clara C. Streit, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Vonovia, says: “For many years, Arnd Fittkau has been synonymous with the reliable management of our housing stock. He and his team are fully committed to ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and low vacancy rates. Thanks to his in-depth knowledge of our company and also of the challenges in the housing market, he has played a key role in shaping the core of our business. By renewing his contract early, we have ensured continuity in a key management area.”

Arnd Fittkau has been a member of Vonovia’s Management Board since May 2019 and, as Chief Rental Officer, is responsible for managing the company’s nationwide property portfolio. He began his career at Vonovia in 2002. Following his role in corporate controlling and several management positions at subsidiaries, Arnd Fittkau became Chief Representative & Chairman of Regional Management of Vonovia in March 2018. He was appointed to the Management Board in May 2019.

By extending his contract, Vonovia has ensured continuity in its rental operations, while creating clarity at an early stage about the future composition of the Management Board.
