On March 7, 2023, investigators seized documents from Vonovia premises; they were acting on the suspicion of problematic procedures in the awarding of contracts to subcontractors, to the detriment of Vonovia.
As the injured party, Vonovia’s priority continues to be getting to the bottom of the matter as quickly as possible. The internal investigation immediately initiated for this purpose by law firm Hengeler Mueller and audit firm Deloitte is already at an advanced stage.
Based on current findings, the financial impact for the company is low and of no substantial relevance, and no other business activities are affected by the procedures. In addition, there is still nothing to indicate that Vonovia's tenants have suffered any damages.
